A Simple Trick to Hack Unprotected Surveillance Cameras in Web

This is pretty much exposing post about the level of security issues in India. I’m not sure if this is practically being exploited to target broadband users in India. This is a simple tool that scans for a range of Live IP Addresses and identifies user specified open ports. So I downloaded the 32-bit Beta version. This doesn’t require any installation. Just download and run it. When you open the tool you can see options to set IP ranges for scanning. I’m a BSNL Dataone Broadband user and I wanted to find out the vulnerable cameras in my locality. This post is not only a guideline for Servicing Sony Mobiles, but also my personal experience (mostly negative) with Sony Support. When you Google for Sony Ericsson service centers in India, you will get this link http://www.sony.co.in/section/servicecentres as the first result. But don’t fall for it. The information in that portal seems to be updated eons ago. In fact I was wandering through the city for the location provided in Sony website that never existed. Anyway located the actual Sony Mobile service center nearby with a help of a friend. Few days later while going through my guarantee card I found out this portal http://sein.servicetrack.in/ which has a lot more accurate data with exact locations of Sony Authorized service centers in India. In the next screen you will be required to provide Employee your PF Account Number . You can find your PF Account Number in your pay slips often. Your PF number will look something like this TN/MAS/XXXXX/YYYYYY Enter the 5 digits after your office code in the third Text Box for Employee PF Account Number field. Leave the fourth Text Box blank.
