Many of you State Bank of India (SBI) customers would have come across a peculiar problem with your old SBI Maestro Debit Card when it comes to online shopping. The usual requirement of the payment section of any online store is Card Number Expiry Date CVV Number Name as on the Card. But old SBI Maestro Debit cards have only these Card Number Valid from Date So How to get Expiry Date and CVV Number for my SBI Card? Your CVV Number will be the Last Three Digit of your ATM Pin. To get Date of Expiry, Add 5 years and 8 months to Valid From Date. For example if my Valid from Date is September 2010, My expiry date will be May 2015. Sometimes even after adding 5 Years and 8 Months if your expiry date is earlier than current date, add another 5 Years and 8 Months. It works :) For example if my Valid from Date is June 2005, My expiry date will be October 2015. Share this useful info with your tribe.

There are a multitude of articles out there guiding you enough to help you build a cryptocurrency mining rig. But in this post I want to cover how a beginner in India can get his/her hands readily on a mining rig hardware in a matter of few clicks. The Debate on Phasing Out HCFCs from India

The usage of refrigerants is governed by two International agreements. Montreal Protocol (MP) - Aims to prevent ozone depletion by reducing ozone depleting gases emission. United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) - Aims to control global warming by reducing green house gas emissions. As per UNFCCC developed nations are mandated to reduce their carbon foot print significantly in a phased manner and also required to fund the cost of transition of poor nations to technologies that have less impact on global warming. The carbon emission savings of individual industrialized nations are measured in percentage reduction. As a part of this design the carbon emission savings of poor nations achieved with the help of a individual industrialized nation can be accounted in the percentage reduction of that nation. As per Montreal Protocol(MP) all member nations are required to reduce the emission of ozone depleting gases in a phased manner. Unlike UNFCCC, MP doesn’t...

Aadhaar Card Enrolment Process - A Quick Glance

Today I got enrolled for Aadhaar card provision in Kanchipuram. I just thought of coming up with a post on the procedure. Before that please ensure the below points while applying for Aadhaar card.: Male citizens wearing round neck shirts or t-shirts were not allowed to enroll. So you better get dressed up in a collared outfit. As a proof of identity and for easy processing the agents require you to have your Census receipt and Ration card with you. Each family will have a census receipt issued earlier during Census 2011 by the Government. The receipt will have NPR ( National Population Registry ) Number. This number has all the preliminary information like number of family members and their name, address and the contact number. The census receipts look like this. You can optionally provide your Bank account number during the enrolment process to be associated with your details. I will recommend this as it would help in future verification scenarios. So better have your bank acc...

The reason why Indian Rupee value tumbled against US Dollar

There were chain of events that lead to the fall of Rupee’s value against US Dollar. Let me list out the events in a sequence. Though I’m not a financial expert I have penned down what I’ve learnt from this crisis. Financial crisis erupts in various nations like Greece, Italy, Spain, Ireland in European Union as a result the stability of European Union came in to question. Financial crisis in Greece worsens even after several bailout package provided by other members of EU (mainly contributed by France and Germany). Bailout package is like a loan granted to the country, which the country has to repay once their economy is stabilized. In the past its been said that International Monetary Fund (IMF) provided similar loans to small countries in Africa and Asia and in case if the country is not able to repay the fund, the IMF gets the right to take natural resources of the country so as to nullify the debt. Some economists have argued that the IMF even though was aware that the p...
